Do you deliver outside of mainland uk?
- We are not currently delivering to Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands. However we are very happy to deliver to a shipper of your choice on the mainland so you can arrange forward shipment.
The furniture piece I bought looks different from the one I saw in store. Is that normal?
- We do everything we can to ensure our product photography represents the colour tones of our furniture (be it wood, fabric or paint finishes), and is the best it can be. However, different monitors or mobile devices do vary greatly in their hue and saturation settings. For this reason there is a very slim chance that the colour of your items varies very slightly with how they are represented on our website.
- Variances also occur in our furniture pieces, most noticeably in reclaimed timber, which weathers differently, or natural materials such as marble which will have its own unique degree of veining and patterns.
I'm worried my sofa won't fit
- Make sure you have checked your home measurements; this includes the size of doorways, your hallway, and the size of the stairwell (if going upstairs).
Do you offer material swatches?
- The best way to be 100% sure about your fabric texture and colour is to order a swatch/fabric sample. This can be done on the product page by clicking the button “Request a Swatch” and completing your address details.
- We send all fabric samples free of charge, and they are usually sent 1st class within 3-5 working days.
- Unfortunately we do not have swatches available for all items.
Do you offer trade discounts?
- We do not have a dedicated Trade Department, but if you wish to place a large order, you can get in touch with us at sales@woods-furniture.co.uk and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.
- Just to make you aware our products are designed for domestic use only. Sorry to sound like a schoolteacher, but if you are buying our wares for commercial use, it's your responsibility to ensure that they meet industry specifications.
Why is my order taking longer than estimated?
- Global shipping has had major disruption as a result of the pandemic, and currently (as of week commencing 14th June 2021) the main issue is a shortage of containers. This means that although goods are ready to ship from our supplier to us, if they can’t find enough empty containers to load then they cannot ship.
- This then creates a delay in our supply chain, which affects the leadtimes shown online, and of course any outstanding orders.
- We will always update you if your order is affected by a delay, and give you the option of either staying with your order, switching to an alternative product, or cancelling for refund.
Are your credit card details safe with us?
- Absolutely. We understand that you may be worried about submitting your personal details - especially when it comes to your credit/debit card numbers. However, Woods promise you that our website uses the safest Secure Server technology to ensure that any details you provide us with are protected to the highest standards. We use Global Payments for all payments and are SSL Certified. If you’re uncomfortable to order online visit one of our shops or give us a call.
Can you recycle our old furniture?
- Unfortunately at this current time we do not offer a removal service to recycle old furniture. We suggest contacting your local recycling centre who would be able to assist or a large number of organisations such as GreenDrop or The Salvation Army, who will pick up donations free of charge.
What protection or guarantee do you offer?
- All our furniture is guaranteed for 1 year. These guarantees don't cover fair wear and tear.

Are your products for commercial use?
Our products are designed for residential use and we do not make any guarantees or warranties about their performance in a commercial environment.
